The marmot route is next to the Coll de Pal villa, in the municipality of Guardiola de Berguedà. It is surrounded by a subalpine meadow environment with little tree vegetation. The marmots came to this area from French afforestation, and although they are hidden, their presence can be easily detected by their droppings and faeces.
At the beginning of the itinerary there is a sign with the map of the route. Along the route there are posters explaining the marmot and the ecosystem where it lives.
The itinerary is circular and you can enjoy magnificent views of the surrounding area.
