Well, wouldn’t you know it—Lady Nature has whimsically decided to bestow upon Berguedà the privilege of mushrooms.

In fact, she decorates our forests with them all year round to bring us gastronomic pleasure; but it's in autumn when she gifts us the most—and the greatest variety. That’s why the region’s restaurants take this opportunity to showcase everything our cuisine has to offer, from the most traditional, time-honored, and locally rooted dishes to the most creative combinations. A whole universe of mushroom flavors, aromas, and nuances awaits you from September 20 to November.

That said, Lady Nature can be quite unpredictable, and mushrooms don’t always show up on schedule—so we reserve the right to make changes to the menus in order to ensure the highest quality.

At the same time, you can also enjoy the Paired Dinner Route, which this year will take place across six restaurants in the region from October 10 to November 21.

These six establishments will offer tasting menus featuring mushrooms as the star ingredient, paired with wines from the Pla de Bages DO, the sponsor of these meals. Guests will be able to enjoy a special promotional tasting menu at €45.

What’s more, Pla de Bages DO, once again the official sponsor of the campaign, will raffle off wine tourism experiences among the participants who collect the most stamps in their passport.
